Pillion Riding Banned In City

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th August, 2016) : Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan has issued directives, imposing ban on pillion riding and weapons display in the jurisdiction of district Quetta with immediate effect, said a handout issued, here on Saturday.
It said that ban on pillion riding and weapons display was imposed after incidents of targeted killings and violence were reported in some area of Quetta.
Ban imposed on Section 144 will remain effective for next one month, it said. However, the law enforcement personnel were given exemption from the ban.
