Murad Briefs Bilawal About Islamabad Visit

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th August, 2016) : Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah called on Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House and briefed him about his Islamabad visit and meeting with Prime Minister to draw his attention towards pressing issues of Sindh province. A Bilawal House Media Cell statement here on Saturday said that the Chief Minister also briefed the Party Chairman about the precautionary measures taken so far during the monsoon season and for flood protections.
It said that Syed Murad Ali Shah informed the PPP Chairman that he has beefed up his team to tackle any emergency during the current spell of downpour across the province.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said he would personally monitor the situation through media and in contacts with Party leaders and workers stressed Sindh government to stay alert as it has to bear the brunt of flooding water from all over the country and ensure safe passage into the sea. He also directed the Chief Minister to keep in contact with Federal government to press it to end load-shedding during monsoon to save the people from any agonies.
He said rain water in both urban and rural localities should be drained out within time so that routine life is not disrupted.
