Murad Gets Report Of Rain From Other Districts

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th August, 2016) : Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah got reports from other district administrations of the province about rainfall in their areas and its impact.
He directed them to be in the field and make every effort to drain out rain water from the roads and help people when they need, an official of the CM House said here on Saturday. He said that according to report given by Commissioner Hyderabad Qazi Shahid Parvaiz, Hyderabad city has received 112 mm rainfall as a result almost every road and locality have been inundated.
He told the Chief Minister that he had deployed necessary machines to drain out accumulated rainwater at Qasimabad, in different localities of Latifabad. By Sunday morning all roads would be cleared then the de-watering machines would be moved to low lying areas, he added.
The Shaheed Benazirabad report as received by the Chief Minister said that 30 mm rainfall was recorded in Taluka Nawabshah, 25 in Sakrand, 12 in Kazi Ahmed, and 288 in Daur. In Sanghar district, maximum rainfall of 35 mm was recorded in Khipro while in Sanghar and Sinjhoro talukas it was 5, in Tando Adam 2, in Jam Nawaz Ali 7 mm.
In Naushahro Feroze 5 mm rainfall was recorded at Nausheroferoze taluka while at Bhiria and Moro it was one mm and at Kandiaro and Mehrabpur there was no rainfall. The Chief Minister was told that in Tharparkar 25 mm rainfall was recorded while in taluka Islamkot it was 30 mm and at Nagarparkar 25 mm.
District Umerkot 5 mm and Mirpurkhas district only 2 mm rainfall has been recorded.
