Sub-engineers Suspended For Corruption

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th August, 2016) : Two sub-engineers have been suspended and a sub-divisional officer (SDO) was transferred on a report of divisional inspection and monitoring team alleging corruption in the construction works.

This was disclosed at a meeting, chaired by Commissioner Nadeem Mehboob, along with Superintending Engineer (SE) Highways Shafqat Buttar, SE Buildings Ghulam Hussain, SE Public Health Engineering Muhammad Tariq, Director Development Qadeer Ahmed and other officials concerned. The meeting was told that the inspection team visited Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) building and Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Bhalwal and found low quality construction.

An inquiry found sub-divisional officer (SDO) and other persons. On the recommendations of the inspection team, two sub-engineers and an SDO were suspended.
