SFD Delegation Visits ERRA Headquarters

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2017 ) : A three-member high powered delegation of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) visited the headquarters of Earthquake Rehabilitation Reconstruction Authority (ERRA) on Wednesday.

Saudi Arabia has been one of the first responders to the devastating earthquake and has been a vital development partner of ERRA in reconstruction and rehabilitation of affected areas of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The delegation led by Chief Engineer Abdullah Al Shoaibi arrived here to oversee the bidding process of SFD projects, and were warmly welcomed by Acting Deputy Chairman ERRA Birgadier Abu Bakr Amin Bajwa.

Brig Bajwa appreciated the role of Saudi Arabia and said the country had always stood with Pakistan in times of need. The meeting was held to oversee transparent bidding of projects and to develop a mechanism for speedy reconstruction of the Saudi funded projects.
