Vocational Skills Best For Youth: MPA

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2017 ) : A mid-term competition in different vocational skills among girl students Tuesday was held under PM Youth Skills Development Programme here at Government College of Technology for Women.
As many as 50 students from fine arts and diploma in information technology departments participated in the competition. MPA Madiha Rana and NAVTTC (National Vocational and Technical Training Commission) Director General Haji Muhammad Dogar were chief guests, while Member Advisory Committee Dr JAffar Hassan Mubarak and Manager Sanatzar Saleem Bulandia were also present.
Both the chief guests distributed prizes among position holder students and appreciated their abilities.
On this occasion, MPA Madiha Rana said that PM Youth Skills Development Programme was a revolutionary step of government to equip the youth with vocational skills helping them get reasonable jobs.
She urged the girls students to get vocational skills and utilize them for earning their livelihood and also motivate other women about the importance of this programme. NAVTTC Director General told the participants that PM Youth Skills Development Programme was being implemented successfully and its third phase was continued as Sanatzar.
He said that vocational training courses of six month duration were organized and the students were also being provided with monthly stipend. APP/asf/maa/ahn
