Rio de Janeiro, (Pakistan Point News – 6th August, 2016) : Rio Olympics 2016 has been started in Brazil. 11 thousand participants will be competing from over 205 countries. Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã Stadium was lit up with lights. 11 thousand athletes participated in March past in the opening ceremony. Pakistani contingent including 4 players and 10 officials participated in the March past. There will be 306 events of 42 sports. Rio Olympics competition events will be held in 33 cities of Brazil. Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games will continue until 21 August.
