Ebad Lauds Contributions Of Welfare Organizations

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan has said that various welfare organizations operating in Karachi have rendered valuable services to the masses which is very commendable. This he stated while taking to prominent social worker Ramzan Chhipa at Governor House here on Friday. The Governor said that the ambulance fleet of Chhipa, Edhi, Aman Foundation and other organisations doing tremendous job in ensuring that of patients or victims of any untoward incident or terrorist activity are rushed to nearby health facility in shortest possible time.
Their mortuaries are also engaged in placing of bodies till the time of burial, he added Ebad also lauded the free meal service for poor by various organisations and said that It has been very beneficial for the poor and downtrodden of the city.
He stressed the need for further minimizing the response time of ambulance so as to ensure more time to medics for the treatment of patients or injured of any incident.
More steps must be taken by such organizations in this regard, he added. Ramzan Chhipa informed Governor Sindh about the working of his organization in detail. He further said that 100 Chhipa ambulance centres were working in Karachi.
