Russia's Kolesnikov Wins 50 Meters Backstroke Swimming At European Championships

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th May, 2021) Russian swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov won gold in the 50 meters backstroke at the European Aquatics Championships in Budapest, setting new world record.

Kolesnikov covered the distance within 23.80 seconds. He surpassed his own world record of 23.93 seconds, which he set on Monday in the semifinals.
