Pakistan Seeks To Safe Return Of Crashed Helicopters Passengers

Islamabad,(Pakistan Point News - 5 August,2016) : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the government was using all channels to ensure the safe return of seven passengers who were reportedly taken hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif also called Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Friday to request his country's help. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani assured all possible assistance in this regard," tweeted ISPR spokesman Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa. Taliban sources on Friday confirmed all crew members of a Punjab government helicopter which crashed in Afghanistan a day earlier are in their custody.
