On-going Development Schemes Should Be Completed In Time: Minister

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Augst,2016) : Sindh Minister for Education Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed all officers concerned to complete on-going development schemes in different sectors of Education Department in time so that people may get fruits of these schemes.
These directives he issued while presiding over a meeting of officers of Planning and Development Department Sindh here in his office on Friday. Director PD&R Mazhar Ali Siddiqi, Deputy Director P&D, Additional Director Shakeel Ahmed Shaikh, Chief Engineer Education Works Fareed uddin Siddiqui and SE Sukkur Nizam uddin Shaikh also attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that 351 schemes in various sectors had been launched in education department with an allocation of huge amount of Rs 13 billions, out of which 140 schemes were on-going and 211 were new.
The Education Minister was also informed that Rs.4.16 billion development budget had been released yet that was a milestone in the history. Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said that all resources should be utilized to achieve the target and no negligence would be tolerated. All officers assured to the minister education that they would try to their best to come up with expectations of people friendly Sindh Government.
