Govt Initiates Public Welfare Projects For Low Income Group: Farrukh

ISLAMABAD, May 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib on Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government has initiated many projects to provide shelter to low income group. In an interview with a private television channel, he said the Prime Minister Imran Khan had launched housing schemes toextend opportunities to those persons who didn't have shelter in Pakistan. The banks have been given direction to facilitate the general public coming for loan at low mark up rate, he said.
The banks are bound to provide loans to applicants after balloting, he remarked.
He said interesting people could construct small houses and buy apartments at subsidized rates. Farrukh Habib said that PTI government was following the vision of Imran Khan and for this, all public interest projects have been launched to improve the life style of poor masses. Replying to a question, he said the PM had allowed the Real Estate and Construction sectors to come forward and participate in the schemes so that general public, earning meager income, could get ownership rights of the apartments and small houses without any trouble.
