MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th May, 2021) The EU defense ministers discussed rapid response military forces, which could act quickly in case of a crisis, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, said Thursday.
According to Borrell, EU defense ministers discussed the idea of "an initial entry force that could be deployed as a first responder in case that we have to face an urgent crisis."
"This is just one example of the proposal that could be considered by member states as part of the ongoing reflection on he strategic compass that I hope will be finished by next March," Borrell said.
