�WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th May, 2021) US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged members of Ukraine's parliament to adopt legislation to fight corruption and promote the rule of law, State Department Spokesperson Ned price said in a readout after the top diplomat's meeting with members of the Verkhovna Rada in Kiev on Thursday.
"Secretary� Blinken� underscored our commitment to democratic principles and institutions as well as the United States' unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence," Price said. "Secretary Blinken and Rada members discussed�the importance of passing key legislation to advance rule of law, anti-corruption, and�economic reforms�that will strengthen Ukraine's democracy and economy, and further Euro-Atlantic integration."
