MoU Signed Between FPCCI, EMPRA

LAHORE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Augst,2016) : The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Electronic Media Producer's Rights Association (EMPRA) inked a Memorandum of Understanding to pledge a closer working relationship between the two institutions and for promotion of trade activities.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the FPCCI, Regional Chairman and Vice President, Mian Rehman Aziz and Electronic Media Producer's Rights Association through its President, Aftab Chaudhary, says a press release issued here on Friday. Mian Rehman Aziz said strong and optimistic linkages among press, media and business community could drive economy to positive and prosperous trend.
He said the MOU had been signed with the objectives of supporting and encouraging economic journalists, under the visionary leadership of United Businessmen Group.
Supporting and empowering print and electronic media was our Social Cooperate Responsibility as media was the one of important sources that could build soft image of the country, he added. While briefing about MOU signed, he said the FPCCI would facilitate and support EMPRA for organizing events and activities as EMPRA was performing proactive role in the socio economic development of country.
Aftab Chaudhary, President EMPRA appreciated Mian Rehman Aziz, Vice President and Regional Chairman FPCCI for the acknowledgement and facilitation of Electronic media as and promoting linkage between media and business community of Pakistan.
