COAS Seeks Afghan President's Help For Release Of Captives

RAWALPINDI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Augst,2016) : Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday made a telephone call to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and asked him to help in safe and early recovery of the crew of the Punjab government's Helicopter.
The helicopter had made crash landing in Lugar province of Afghanistan on Thursday on its way to Russia for maintenance.
According to the Tweet by Director General ISPR Lt. General Asim Saleem Bajwa, Afghan President assured all possible assistance in this regard.
