Efforts Be Made For Improving Education, Health Sector In Sindh:

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Augst,2016) : Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah on Friday said efforts would be made for further improving education and Health sector in the province.
Addressing a press conference after his meeting with the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Murad Ali Shah expressed his statisfaction over the meeting and said the Prime Minister assured him for extending cooperation at the Federal level.
The Sindh government is facing a number of challenges and efforts would be made for their redressal, he mentioned. Murad Ali Shah said law and order situation in the province was not very bad but actually perception was verse, however, he said concrete steps would be taken to improve law and order situation.
Thar is facing water shortage from centuries due to no rain in current season, the water crisis aggravated in the area and the government was trying to resolve the issue on priority basis, the Chief Minister said.
Speaking about powers of the Rangers, he said that "the paramilitary force has been granted special powers in the Province for 90 days only. In Sindh, Rangers are present as per the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.
The issue of Rangers has been resolved amicably." Murad Ali Shah said he would seek guidance from the leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and follow party's policy. The Chief Minister said policy of the party was people- friendly and that the leadership has full confidence in his ability.
