Pakistan’s young filmmaker Shah Nawaz Zali’s documentary has been nominated for Student Academy Awards

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News – 5th August, 2016) : Pakistan’s young filmmaker Shah Nawaz Zali’s documentary ‘100 Steps’ has been nominated for the 43rd Student academy Awards. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, twice Oscar-winning person, has confirmed it in a tweet on social networking site Twitter, in which she also congratulated the Shah Nawaz. ‘100 Steps’ was filmed in 2015 which presented to a young boy's life; it depicted that how a child was enforced to be a suicide bomber. 23-year-old Shah Nawaz stated that as a filmmaker he wanted to make a film that can change the thinking of Pakistan's current role in the whole world through the media. Shah Nawaz said regarding the plot of the film that he chose this theme because these problems exist in our society, and as a nation we must find solutions to all these problems.
