Int'l Conference Calls For Youth's More Proactive Role

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Augst,2016) : The International Youth Conference (IYC), highlighting the issues of the youth has urged for education sector's more effective role to exploit youth's potential for the betterment of Pakistan. The two-day conference organized by Helping Hands For Relief And Development (HHRD) in collaboration with Meezan Bank presented solutions to the issues of youth like unemployment, women issues, knowing the ideology of Pakistan, lack of practical skills in education system.
Speakers were unanimous for youth's frequent interaction with these kinds of platforms that not only highlight their issues but also suggest possible solutions for them to become a proactive member of a healthy society. The panelists and speakers made all of their references from Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet(PBUH), only a way forward to achieve success here and hereafter. Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Planning,in his speech said quality of leadership is the most important element in bringing change in any society.
But he also stressed on individuals' own role saying, "Positive journey starts in ones own mind". In the concluding session of the conference, Dr. Mohsin Ansari CEO, HHUSA stated that our youth should return to their principle goal of serving the nation after achieving their Primary objectives. Fazal ur Rehman, Country Director HHRD, said his initiative to orgnaize the activty was to provide the youth from all over Pakistan to come together on a single platform and to work more effectively. Participants in the conference seemed motivated after the conference that our youth needed these kinds of more initiatives and platforms to up bring their abilities in an effective manner. The conference, which was attended by more than 300 students and entrepreneurs from across Pakistan, also sought more awareness to attract more participants to reap maximum benifits.
