Traders Urge Govt To Reduce Import Duty On Garments

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) ; President Traders Action Committee Sharjeel Mir has urged the government to reduce import duty on garments and review Tax law 886. In a meeting with Member Customs Nasir Masroor here Thursday along with traders delegation, he said the increase of 500 to 600 percent import duty on garments would affect business activities.
Sharjeel quoted the Member as saying that traders demand would be resolved amicably. He thanked the member and expressed the hope that frequent meetings would help in solving various issues being faced by the business community.
