Senate Body On Devolution Of Power Meets

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : The Senate Functional Committee on Devolution of Power met on Thursday at Parliament House under the chairmanship of Senator Taj Haider. State Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman told the committee that the four meetings of National Curriculum Council had been held in which all provinces gave their recommendations.
He said that Sindh had played vital role as an observer adding that federal government was not intervening in the matters of the provinces forcefully. He informed that education and curriculum had been devolved to the provinces and there was lack of coordination among the provinces.
The meeting was attended by other senators including Sardar Yaqoob Nasir, Tahir Hussain Mushaddi, Kamil Ali Agha and Chaudhry Tanveer Hussain.
