Enthronement Day Reception

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : Ishtiaq Baig Honorary Consul General of Kingdom of Morocco hosted a dinner reception at a local hotel to mark the 17th Enthronement of King Mohammad VI.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the ceremony as Chief Guest. Muhammad Kalakhi, Deputy Head of Mission of Morocco Embassy, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani, Senior Minister Nisar Khoro, NAB Chairman Karachi Sirajuddin Naeem, Rear Admiral Waseem Akram, Brig.

Zubair, Sharmila Farooqui, SVP FPCCI Khalid Tawab and President KCCI Younus Bashir attended.

Members of the diplomatic corps and a number of Moroccan nationals residing in Pakistan also attended the ceremony. The National Anthem of Morocco and Pakistan was played.

The Chief Guest along with other dignitaries cut the cake. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in his speech congratulated the people of Morocco on this occasion and lauded the efforts of Ishtiaq Baig to enhance the bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
