Pakistan's Liquid Foreign Reserves Reached Near US $ 23 Billion

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 22,978.5 million on July 29, 2016. Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement of the Central Bank issued here Thursday said that Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 18,060.
5 million while Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were US$ 4,918.0 million on July 29, 2016. During the week ending 29 July 29,2016, SBP's Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$24 million to US$18,061 million, compared to US$18,037 million in the previous week.
