CM Sindh Reviews Independence Day Celebration Arrangements

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presiding over a meeting to chalk out programmes in connections with Independence Day here at CM House on Thursday. The CM Sindh directed Culture department to organise a musical show for public at Seaview on August 14, said a statement on Thursday. "In the morning of August 14, I along with my cabinet members would go to Mazar-e-Quaid to pay respect and gratitude to the Father of Nation, after that some cabinet members would go to hoist national flag in their respective divisional headquarters," he said. He added that he would personally visit hospitals, orphanages and old age houses to give them gifts and greetings of independence day.
He directed the Chief Secretary to issue directives to the bureaucracy and divisional, district and taluka administrations to start hoisting flags on their offices and government houses.
They must hoist flags on their vehicles also and keep visiting hospitals, schools and such other offices from Friday to celebrate, he said. The CM Sindh has constituted a committee comprising Commissioner Karachi and secretary culture to organise football matches in connection with Independence Day. He said that he would play football along with some of his cabinet members and the Chief Secretary and IGP Sindh AD Khwaja would also play with them," he said and added that "we would make history of celebrations," he said.
