Hindu Community To Celebrate Independence Day With Traditional Fervor

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : KMC Administrator Laeeq Ahmed said all patriotic Pakistanis want to celebrate Independence Day with traditional zeal and enthusiasm. He said that the Constitution of the country gives full security to minorities and provides them with the opportunity to take part equally in the progress and development of the country. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Hindu Community, led by Raja Chohan, called on him in his office to discuss the arrangements of programs planned for Independence Day Celebrations, said a statement on Thursday.

The KMC would support and cooperate with all civic organizations and communities in their plans to celebrate the Independence Day in a befitting manner. The Administrator Karachi assure them all possible support and cooperation in holding of these programs on Independence Day and said KMC would carry on supporting such positive and health activities in the city.
