No flood in river Chenab

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : There is no flood in the river Chenab and its water level is normal. This was said by XEN Irrigation and Focal Person for Flood Tariq Aziz while talking to APP here on Thursday. He said 53,000 cusec water was recorded in the river Chenab, adding that irrigation field staff had been deputed and camps have also been set up at various embankments across the zone.

He said they had made all possible preparations to cope with flood like situation while a control cell was also functional to monitor the flood situation.
