DC Reviews Arrangements For Independence Day

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) : Deputy Commissioner Dr Wasim Ali has directed all the concerned officers to finalize the arrangements regarding celebrations of Independence Day. According to a handout issued here on Thursday, the DC presided over a meeting to review the arrangements made for Independence Day celebrations held at Deputy Commissioner office. The meeting decided that main function of flag hoisting ceremony would be held at district community hall. Deputy Commissioner said that the schedule of Independence Day celebration has been finalized under which the main event would be held at district community hall where the flag hoisting ceremony will be held on 14th August.
This will be followed by the national songs, tableaus by the students of different schools of the District.
He directed the officers of education Department to hold celebrations of Independence Day programmes in educational institutions in their respective areas.
He urged the people from all walks of life to celebrate the day with zeal. The Deputy Commissioner directed the Police officers to ensure strict security during the celebrations of Independence Day.
He also instructed the concerned officers to take measures for the cleanliness at all public places particularly hospitals in the districts. The meeting among others was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Safdar Ali Bughio and DHO Abdul Wahab.
