Independence Day Cycle Race

LAHORE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) Punjab Cycling Association will organize Open Ordinary Cycle Road Race here on August 14 to mark the independence day celebrations. PSA is organizing the race in collaboration with Punjab Olympic Association and Pakistan Cycling Federation. The race will start from Punjab Stadium at 07.00 hours in the morning and conclude at Qaddafi Stadium Metro Bus Station after covering some points of the city.

President, PCA, Ch.Kamran Amin will flag off the riders.

The first six position holders of the race will get cash prizes. Syed Nazaqat Ali Shah,a former International Cyclist, will act as chief judge and Qaisar Saddique Bhatti also has been nominated as Organizing Secretary of the race.Muhammad Akram Dar,also a former International Cyclist,is the chief coordinator. "The open race will give ample opportunity to the riders having ordinary bikes to underline their talent in the event",said a spokesman of PCA here on Thursday.
