Natural Gas Supply Project Inaugurated In Lower Dir

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) : Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Maqam on has inaugurated a project of providing natural gas to different villages in Adizai subdivision of Lower Dir. According to the private news channel, Amir Maqam said that the project would be completed with a special fund approved by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said that under the project, gas meters would be installed at houses and markets in Asbanr, Och, Chakdara, Khairabad, Wosgi, Gulabad, Kharkani and Warsak areas of the subdivision within a period of two months. Meanwhile, locals have expressed happiness over the gas project in the area. They were of the view that the provision of natural gas would prove as alternate source of power and reduce cutting of woods in the mountainous region of Dir.
