Zone-II Gives 267-challenging Target To Zone-V

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : The century by Rao Waqar paved the way for Zone-II to give 267 runs tough target to its rival Zone-V on the opening day of the 5th round of 3 day matches of the PCB Regional Inter District Senior (Karachi Region) cricket Tournament.
Zone-II made 267 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 83 overs at Landhi Gymkhana Ground.
Rao Waqar crashed 112 off 200 balls by hitting 10 boundaries and Adeel Malik 37 with the aid of 7 fours. Maroof Aziz (MF) snapped out 4 wickets for 53 runs and Muhammad Salman 2 wickets for 52 runs. Zone-V made 15 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 5 overs and would continue its innings to be played on August 4.
