Addl Chief Secretary Pays Surprise Visit To Benevolent Fund Office

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shamail Ahmad Khwaja Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the office of Punjab Government Employees Benevolent Fund Board, located in the Alfalah Building, The Mall, here.
The official interacted with the applicants of marriage grant, funeral grant and different educational scholarships and listened to their problems. He issued on-the-spot orders to redress genuine grievances. He directed the board Secretary Sahibzadi Wasimah Umer to set up a state-of-the-art reception area in the office and convert all functions of the applicants to online system so that maximum facilitation could be provided to the government officials, coming to the office for obtaining grants.
He also issued instructions that no case should be kept pending unjustifiably even for a single day and cheques of grants should be dispatched at the home addresses of the applicants through courier service.
