4 Women Among 10 Killed In Different Incidents

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : As many as 10 persons including four women were killed in different incidents in and around Faisalabad during the past 12 hours. Police spokesman said here on Wednesday that Muhammad Asif, an employee of a prize bonds shop at Rail Bazaar, had come to the State Bank of Pakistan branch to cash the prize bonds when armed bandits intercepted him on the way. They snatched prize bonds worth millions of rupees at gunpoint and opened fire on Asif when he offered resistance.
The victim received serious bullet injuries in his head and chest. He was rushed to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital but he could not survive. Also, Bashiran Bibi, a resident of Lundianwala, and Raheela Bibi, a resident of Chak No 57-JB, ended their lives due to domestic reasons.
A girl Ayesha, daughter of Rehmat Ali, a resident of Babar Colony, was shifted to hospital when she jumped into Gogera Branch Canal to commit suicide after quarreling with her family members over a domestic issue.
Meanwhile, a married person Akbar Khan, a resident of Towana Chak Sattiana, drowned in Gogera Branch Canal near Chak No 22-GB, whereas Sadar police recovered the body of an unknown young man from Jaranwala Road near Yaseen Hospital. Likewise, a young man Judgay, son of Mehnga, a resident of Chak No 151-JB, Jannat Bibi, a resident of Chak No 622-GB, Faiza Idrees, a resident of 275-RB and an unknown rickshaw driver were killed in different road accidents, while 12-year-old Arshad Hussain, a resident of Chak No 234-JB was killed when a stray dog bit him. The police took all the bodies into custody and started investigation.
