ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : Ministry of Interior on Wednesday announced that legal experts have pointed out flaws in the notification of Sindh government regarding extension in the Rangers authority in the province which are being examined.
Ministry of Interior has received a notification regarding extension in authority of Rangers on Tuesday. Neither Ministry of Interior rejected the notification of Sindh government nor any announcement was made in this regard.
A Spokesman of the Ministry has said statements and criticism from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership regarding authority of Rangers in Sindh were quite surprising and beyond thinking. During the last two weeks the Rangers in Sindh was present without any authority and in spite of repeated reminders, the provincial government neither positively responded nor its leadership showed any impatience which is being expressed now, the Spokesman mentioned.
