ISLAMABAD,(Pakistan Point News - APP - 3rd Augst,2016) : The Federal Flood Commission (FFC) has said that all main rivers including Rivers Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej are flowing normal, except for River Indus which is running in Low Flood at Guddu Barrage. According to daily FFC report here Wednesday, the river flows and reservoir elevations indicates that Tarbela & Mangla reservoirs are at elevations of 1522.40 feet and 1234.80 feet respectively, which are 27.

60 feet & 7.20 feet below their respective Maximum Conservation Levels of 1550.00 feet and 1242.00 feet. The combined live storage capacity of Tarbela, Chashma & Mangla reservoirs is 11.900 MAF as compared to last year's 13.333 MAF. Scattered thunderstorm/rain with isolated heavy falls is expected over Southern Punjab, Sindh and Northeastern Balochistan during the next 48 hours. Significant rainfall events reported by the Flood Forecasting Division, Lahore during the past 24 hours, include; Dir = 63 mm, D.G. Khan (Mari) = 49 mm, Malamjabba = 37 mm, Kamra = 35 mm, Marala = 23 mm, Peshawar (City) = 20 mm, Risalpur = 17 mm, Kakul & Drosh = 10 mm each.
