Market Committee Issues Fruit, Vegetables' Price List

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the daily price list of fruit and vegetables. According to a spokesman of the committee, the rate list of vegetables per kilogram in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato Rs 35, onion Rs 29, tomato Rs 75, ginger Rs 85, garlic Rs 265, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Lemon Rs 98, lady finger Rs 70, green zucchini Rs 60, pumpkin Rs 53, brinjal Rs 50, peas Rs 170, farsh bean Rs 58, Tanda Desi Rs 76, cucumber Rs 62, capsicum Rs.75/55, green chilli Rs 58, cauliflower Rs 92/65, cabbage Rs 62, bitter gourd Rs 34, spinach Rs 33/22, Turnip Rs 52, maroo Rs 60, Yam Rs 56, carrot Rs 74, Chicken Rs 112 and egg per dozen Rs.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 148/120, Apple China Rs 192/150, Apple Newzealand Rs 255/225, Banana Pak Rs 82/50, pear China Rs 155/125, grapes sundar Rs 145/120, grapes Gola Rs 98/65, gava Rs 88/60, grapes black Rs 135/115, peach Rs 88/60, garma Rs 60/28, mango Chonsa White Rs 85/60, mango Chonsa Black Rs 64/45, mango ratool Rs 85/65 and apricot Kabli Rs 185/145. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
