SP Of Hong Kong Police Visits SSU Headquarters

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : Superintendent of Police, Hong Kong, Munir Khan has visited Special Security Unit (SSU) Headquarters here on Wednesday. He appreciated the professional standard of SSU and declared the unit as world class law enforcement outfit in Sindh Police. He paid detailed visit to various sections of SSU Headquarters. Maqsood Ahmed Commandant SSU briefed about the functioning of the different sections of SSU and informed about the efforts to setup country's first Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T) team, issuance of ISO certificate from UKAS Britain to SSU on maintaining international standard in the field of Performing Counter Terrorism Operations, Provision of Foolproof Security to Foreign Dignitaries and Vital Installations.

Hong Kong Police officer lauded the professionalism maintained in the unit and endeavor to further enhance the capabilities of commandos to crackdown the activities of terrorists. Maqsood Ahmed further informed that the commandos of S.W.A.T team equipped with latest weapons and communication system remained alert round the clock as quick response force to challenge any critical situation if created by the anti-social elements. Later, Munir Khan presented shield of Hong Kong Police to Maqsood Ahmed Commandant SSU.

Commandant SSU also presented shield of SSU to Munir Khan.
