Commissioner For Resolution Of Traffic Jam Issue

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : Commissioner of Karachi, Aijaz Ahmed Khan has taken serious notice of the issue of traffic jam in metropolis and has decided to take effective measures for the resolution of issue. In a meeting at his office on Wednesday, the commissioner directed DIG Traffic to make extra ordinary efforts on emergency basis to resolve the issue of traffic jam in city, said a statement.
The meeting decided that strict action would be taken against violation of one-way traffic road.
The meeting also reviewed arrangements made for the issues caused by heavy traffic. It was decided that the traffic police will take stern action against traffic violations without any discrimination and will ensure that traffic flow is not affected due to heavy vehicles.
Additional Commissioner Karachi-I, Aslam Khoso and DIGP South Ameer Shaikh were also present on the occasion.
