PNCA Finalizes Colorful Programmes For Independence Day

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has finalized colorful programmes in connection with Independence day celebrations to highlight importance of cultural diversity and national unity.

The Council artists will present colorful folk dances including Kashmiri, Balti, Khattak, Bhangra, Balochi Leva and Sindhi Jhoomer. Meanwhile children would present skit depicting importance of cultural diversity and unity, an official of PNCA told APP. He said that these celebrations would educate the younger generation of the sacrifices made by their elders.

The programme included a special play, where participants would give a message of the importance of independence, education and a healthy environment. Students from different schools and universities also deliver speeches and national songs, highlighting the significance of independence and national pride and also present patriotic songs and tableaus.

A magic show would also entertain the children on the occasion.
