Pakistan to install fences and radar on Pak-Afghan border

ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News – 13th March, 2017) : Pakistan have begun to instal fences on Pakistan-Afghanistan border so as to stop the illegal entrance of terrorists and weapons from the neighboring country. A 2430 km long fence will be installed. In the initial step, 1300 km long fences will be installed on the key points in KPK and FATA by FC forces. Moreover, to detect the illegal crossing of terrorists from across the border via air surveillance and special radar system. As per media reports, Pakistan have already built a 1100 km trench on Chaman-Kandahar border. Four more checkpoints will be installed in North and South Waziristan and Muhamand and Karam Agency to facilitate the people legally crossing the border.
