Domestic Servants Nabbed For Looting Owner's House

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd August, 2016) : Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad Police has arrested domestic servants for ransacking their owner's house in their absence and later pretending to be looted at gun point by unidetified dacoits, police said on Tuesday.
According to details, police received an application that house of Muneer resident of House # 190, St# 70 in Phase-III Bahria town Islamabad had been looted on May 25, 2016 when he and his wife were in office.
It was told that their servant Shabir and maid Sonia Bashir informed him on call that some unidentified dacoits looted the house at gun point and ran away. Following this complaint with Loi Bher police, a special team was constituted under supervision of SP Investigation, Islamabad Muhammad Ilyas.
The team including DSP CIA Bashir Noon, Inspector Bashir, Riaz Mekan and Arshad Abasi worked hard and traced those involved in ransacking the house.
It was revealed during the investigation that domestic servants Shabir and his wife Sonia concocted story of dacoity and they were actually themselves involved in it.
Police recovered the looted items including diamond gold sets, silver jewelry, cash and electrical appliances and other valuables from them. Further investigation is underway from them to nab their other accomplices who assisted them in looting the House.
Meanwhile, police nabbed another burglar Imtiaz who confessed to commit dacoity at the house Zeeshan Ahmed in Industrial area. SIU team succeeded to recover two LEDs, cash Rs 10,0000 and other valuables from the nabbed person. Further detailed investigation is underway into both cases.
