Italian Plant Machinery Manufacturer Signs JV Agreement With
Pakistani Co.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd August, 2016) : Chairperson Sindh board of Investment (SBI), Ms. Naheed Memon on Tuesday said that the agreement between Italy and Pakistan will create more jobs and bring modern technology and economic development to the Sindh province.
The agreement will also help introduce new technology in automobile and construction industries, she added. She expressed these views in a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), between Italian company `BLEND' and Pakistan based company SWAN at the Sindh Board of Investment. The agreement envisages introduction of modern Construction Concrete manufacturing plant by the Italian company with the cooperation of SWAN to the market in Pakistan. The Italian company will also establish a unit for manufacturing the product in Pakistan.
It is relevant to mention here that the Italian company manufacture the comprehensive Construction Concrete plant including trucks and railway bogey. Italian Consul General in Karachi Gianluca Rubagotti and others were also present. The SBI has played a significant role to bring Italian company and SWAN close with the objective to introduce modern technology in Pakistan. Chairperson SBI Ms.
Naheed Memon during her latest visit to Italy and Germany had motivated the foreign companies to invest in different sectors in Sindh. The Chairperson SBI also organised a preliminary meeting of the officials of BLEND and SWAN on the sidelines of Munich investment conference, which has resulted in signing of agreement between the two firms.
