Siraj Qasim Teli passes away in Dubai

Siraj Qasim Teli, the known trader of Karachi, died of Cardiac arrest during his stay in the UAE.

DUBAI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Dec 8th, 2020) Popular trader Siraj Qasim Teli died of cardiac arrest in Dubai, the sources said on Tuesday.

Siraj Qasim Teli died of cardiac arrest.

According to the reports, businessman was admitted to a UAE hospital for a chest infection and breathed his last during the treatment.

Teli always voiced concerns of Pakistani business community, especially from Karachi. He also served as the President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and pakistan stock exchange.

He actively played role in the economic affairs of the country and was also awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan for his services.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed grief over his death and condolences to his family.

KCCI President Shariq Vohra termed the death of Siraj Qasim Teli as a loss to the country. He said that Teli was an asset of this country and was leader of the business community not only in Karachi but of Pakistan.

Teli was a prominent face of Karachi's business community, serving at top positions in various organizations including the Chairman of Businessmen Group (BMG).
