Jamshoro-Sehwan Sharif Highway Being Dualized: NA Told

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Augst,2016) : Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab said Tuesday that measures were being taken to dualize Jamshoro-Sehwan Sharif National Highway in order to minimise chances of accidents. Speaking in the National Assembly the minister said that road was in good condition but was prone to accidents as it was a single one and there was inadequate deployment of police cops, adding National Highway Authority (NHA) was preparing making measures to overcome these issues.
As part of such efforts, he said a feasibility report and PC-I was being prepared to make the highway more safer following making the road dualized. He informed the House that he had also discussed the issue with Inspector General Motorway Police to deploy more traffic wardens on the road. Thus, he said a summary pending in the ministry of communication would be forwarded to the Prime Minister to recruit more staff which would enable to deploy more police on the road following fresh recruitment.
