ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee Tuesday issued the daily price list of fruit and vegetables. According to a spokesman of the committee, the rate list of vegetables per kilogram in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar markets is as under: Potato Rs 35, onion Rs 30, tomato Rs 75, ginger Rs 88, garlic Rs 255, Garlic (China) Rs 270, lemon Rs 95, lady finger Rs 72, green zucchini Rs 65, pumpkin Rs 55, brinjal Rs 55, peas Rs 180, farsh bean Rs 56, tanda Desi Rs 76, cucumber Rs 65, capsicum Rs.82/60, green chilli Rs 60, cauliflower Rs 95/70, cabbage Rs 68, bitter gourd Rs 35, spinach Rs 34/24, turnip Rs 45, maroo Rs 56, yam Rs 55, carrot Rs 80, chicken Rs 112 and egg per dozen Rs.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 152/125, apple China Rs 200/170, apple Newzealand Rs 260/230, banana Pak Rs 80/48, pear China Rs 165/140, grapes sundar Rs 155/130, grapes Gola Rs 92/70, gava Rs 90/60, grapes black Rs 130/110, peach Rs 90/70, garma Rs 60/40, mango Chonsa White Rs 85/60, mango Chonsa Black Rs 68/50, mango ratool Rs 95/70 and apricot Kabli Rs 192/150. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
