Slaughter-house Staff Get Protection Material Against Congo Virus

FAISALABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Augst,2016) : The district Livestock department has distributed safety material among doctors,staff and butchers at slaughter-houses to ensure their safety against Congo virus. DO Livestock Dr Saleha Gill said here on Tuesday that gloves,aprons, gum-boots and other safety material was distributed among doctors, staff and butchers at nine slaughter houses in the district.
"Congo virus outbreak occurs when ticks attack mammals",she said adding that Livestock department has taken measures to control possible threats from this virus. Steamers,banners and other printed material was being displayed at prominent places in slaughter houses, cattle markets, veterinary hospitals and dispensaries,she said.
