Sahiwal, (Pakistan Point News – 2nd August, 2016) : Five were killed in an alleged police encounter in Sahiwal, Punjab while 3 escaped, and 2 policemen were also wounded while robbers opened fire. According to the Police sources reported that police found seven robbers fled after the robbing in the area of Civil Lines Station, police chased them on Jhaal Road. Five robbers were killed in a shootout while 2 police officers injured too. Dead bodies of robbers and injured policemen were taken to the hospital. According to DPO Sahiwal Atif Ikram 3 robbers has escaped and police search is underway.
