Eight Killed, 15 Injured In Road Accident

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Augst,2016) : Eight passengers lost their lives while over 15 received serious injuries when a Dera Ghazi Khan bound speedy coach dashed into a parked truck on Indus Highway near Jamshoro Toll Plaza Petaro early Tuesday morning.

According to initial reports, received from Incharge Edhi Foundation Hyderabad, the speedy coach was on way to its destination Dera Ghazi Khan from Karachi and when it reached near Jamshoro Toll Plaza Petaro, the driver failed to see the faulty parked truck and rammed into it. As a result of which, scores of passengers received fatal injuries.

Eight of them breathed their last before they could get any first aid. The Police and volunteers of Edhi Foundation rushed to spot and started rescue work. The bodies and injured persons who fished out from the wreckage of the coach were shifted to Liaquat University Jamshoro.
