Sindh Govt Focusing On Energy, Health Sectors: Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2017 ) : Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah has said that the provincial Government was focusing on energy and health sectors to facilitate masses.
After visit to Civil Hospital Sukkur on Monday evening, he told Media that monitoring of public sector hospitals and vertical programmes of health department were underway throughout the Sindh province to provide better health facilities to general public.
He said that different health projects were underway in the district, which will be completed at the cost of Rs 110 million adding that the provincial government is committed to improve overall condition of healthcare centers across the province and situation will be improved gradually with the passage of time.
He said although there is no ideal situation exist in the province in provision of health and diagnostic facilities to people,yet health department was working to improve overall condition of health facilities throughout the province.
He said international leval surgical unit was being built in Sukkur, while a 100-bed hospital and a 200-bed women hospital was also under construction adding that all health projects would be completed in one-and-a-half year. He said now CT Scan facility was also being provided free of cost. The playgrounds were also being built in Sukkur, he added.
