Cycling: Former Giro Winner Hesjedal To Retire

PARIS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : Canadian Ryder Hesjedal will retire at the end of the season after a 18-year career, his team Trek announced on Monday. The 35-year-old won the 2012 Giro d'Italia and claimed two stage wins on the Vuelta a Espana.
"It's not an easy decision, but the time feels right," said Hesjedal. He has not chosen what will be his last race, but has planned to line up in the two biggest events in his home country, in Quebec and Montreal in September.
