100 Houses Searched, Five Suspects Arrested

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : The contingents of Islamabad Police and Pakistan Rangers on Monday conducted a grand search operation in various areas of the city and nabbed five suspects. According to a police spokesman, officers and personnel of Islamabad Police, Pakistan Rangers and other law enforcement agencies searched more than 100 houses, plazas and hotels in Koral, Tarlai and areas adjacent to them.
Some five suspects were held, besides recovery of wine and illegal weapons from them. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani, in a statement, said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance was to ensure foolproof security in the city.
He directed the station hous offoicers to continue it. He appealed the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
